Attend March 11 to Help Reverse this pivotal land use change

Broward County Vice Mayor Mark Bogen has put us on March 11 agenda to revisit the Land Use change

Deerfield Beach Residents!  🎉🎊💃🕺🎊🎉

Re: AXIS Project

Broward County Vice Mayor Mark Bogen has put us on the March 11 agenda to revisit the Land Use change which enabled the AXIS project in the first place.

Once you’ve cast your vote for Deerfield Beach mayor (Dan Herz), please show up March 11 at or after 10 AM (we’re #36) to show support for revisiting the land use change to the Broward County Commissioners.

LET’S DO THIS! Send an email, and show up wearing white shirts again!

This is all thanks VERY MUCH to Sandra and our Broward County Vice Mayor and District 2 County Commissioner, Mark Bogan. This may be everything we could hope for! For all of us, this means a trip to Fort Lauderdale in a white shirt! Details in comments.

I will update the front page of the HelloDeerfieldBeach.com website as the Agenda items progress. The Broward County Commission meeting starts at 10 AM, we are the last thing on the agenda, number 36. We can count together, but you don’t have to be in the room, just watch my front page timer.

If you are unable to make this meeting, it is really critical to politely and kindly email Vice Mayor Mark Bogan, thank him and cc ALL the members of the city commission, thanking them for bringing this to the table. Share your associated documents with them, so they understand your perspective.

Tell them how much you appreciate that they understand how you feel about being excluded from the decision-making process since these pivotal decisions were made during Covid travel restrictions, when nobody saw any Posted Public Notice signs and attendance was prohibited anyway.

Nobody reported seeing a single Public Notice in the mail either. We all got copies of the attached notice during a developer’s request for a public meeting, where we were led to believe that we were picking paint colors, landscaping, and such. We were told ‘too late, it was already a done deal’, and then they handed us this attached notice.

We were excluded from the whole process!
