Imagine waking up every day to the unbearable smell of dog waste in the Florida sun. That’s the reality Deerfield Beach just approved, allowing developers of the **AXIS Project** to turn a residential home at **228 NE 9th Ave** into a **waste disposal site for 237 dogs**—every day. 

The developers bought this property, along with an adjacent lot on **US1**, and manipulated zoning laws to bypass residential restrictions. Now, they’ve convinced the city to allow this home to become a **permanent poop yard**, creating a daily stench, health risks, and a drop in property values for nearby families.

This isn’t just one property—if this rezoning stands, other neighborhoods could face the same fate. We cannot let Deerfield Beach become a haven for waste and disease.
